The Great Pumpkin Ball, Montreal Botanical Gardens
Through October 31
Spend an unforgettable day in the company of Esmeralda the witch,
watch Pépo the pumpkin in his show, discover squashes and gourds on
displays, and pop into the Little Monsters Courtyard. Lots of great
activities are lined up to celebrate the arrival of Halloween!
Pick a Peck of Pumpkins, Chateau Ramezay
Through November 10
Learn a bit about
the history of pumpkins and squash, and how they are used in beauty
products, on stage, as instruments in concerts, and as decorations in
dining rooms. What a history to discover!
Funky Feet at DansEmotion, Place Bonaventure
October 18-19 Do your kids love to dance? Funky Feet will be one of the featured
exhibitors at the DansEmotion exposition! Register now for a workshop,
or just visit the Funky Feet booth at the event!
Montreal Cake Show
October 19-20, 10am-6pm
The 2nd Annual Montreal cake show is
taking place ithis weekend and it's jam packed with exciting classes,
vendors, challenges, demos and more. Make sure you're prepared for these
2 days of delicious FUN!
Arashi Daiko presents "WA" - 30th anniversary concert

A fantastic, family-friendly (children are welcome to the Sunday
matinée) Japanese percussion show is taking place this weekend to
celebrate 30 years of Montreal's Arashi Daiko.
Railway Ghosts, Exporail
Beware! Ghosts, skeletons, bats and spiders have taken over the
museum. They are even lurking in some of the vehicles! A train car has
been specially outfitted as a workshop where children can create their
very own Halloween masks.
The Sounds of Silence, YM-YWHA West Island JCC (WIJCC)
October 22, 4pm-5:30pm
Want supper and entertainment taken care of while you enjoy a few
moments of silence? The WIJCC is ready to greet you and your little one
(1 to 5 years) with a supervised open gym, and they even provide a Wacky
Mac supper! Pre-registration required.
