 - Since 2003 all classic chocolate, vanilla and chocolaty mint cookies are produced in a nut-free and peanut-free bakery.
 - The original uniforms were sewn by each individual Girl Guide based on a common pattern.
 - Famous Girl Guides from Québec are Céline Dion, Elisha Cuthbert, and former Governor General Jeanne Sauvé. Some other well-known Girl Guides are, former Governor General of Canada Michaëlle Jean, Margaret Atwood, Feist, Sarah McLaughlin and Queen Elizabeth II.
 - The versatility of the new uniform allows the girls and women to participate in a wide range of activities such as planting trees, volunteering at local charities, engaging with local politicians, or even canoeing down a river.
 - In 1992 Dr. Roberta Bondar, Canada’s first female astronaut and former Girl Guide, juggled Girl Guide cookies in space.

My daughter would lead everyone on a hike through the woods. She loves the outdoors and it a natural leader! Her older brother is a Beaver (going into Cubs next year) and my daughter always wants to join in at the the meetings and outings! I was a brownie and a Girl Guide and I cannot wait until she is old enough to join this great organization!

I think my daughter's biggest adventure would be playing and exploring outside. Being raised an urbanite, unfortunately we don't get enough of that.

My daughter Sydney Marie is 5 years old and is the sweetest and funniest little girl in the city! You would be laughing and smiling all day with her! She loves the outdoors and is a wonderful artist, she would decorate your walls like no one else!
